Blu Cantrell "Proud" Of Nude Pics
Word began surfacing in the last month or so that Arista recording artist
Blu Cantrell was the subject of a nude pictorial in Black Tail magazine
seven years ago. In a recent interview with Sonia Murray of the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution, Cantrell expressed no regrets about doing the
spread.

"It's a closed book to me. I know people are talking about it. I'm not
surprised . . . but I don't even care. I'm not ashamed of nudity. I did it
a long time ago when I needed to pay my bills," says the 25-year-old whose
single "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)," reached No. 2 on Billboard's pop chart
in August.
"Actually, I'm proud of it. I'll sign one [of the pictures] if they want
me to. I've even caught friends looking, business associates looking at me
on the Internet. And I'm fine with it. I did it so long ago. Now it's
about the singing and the album. I don't have any regrets."
Cantrell is currently promoting her debut CD, So Blu, which was certified
gold by the RIAA with sales in excess of 500,000 copies.
Her next single is the ballad, "Till I'm Gone."
